Following the success of establishing ICO Alert as the most trusted and comprehensive listing of initial coin offerings (ICOs) available, Co-Founders Rob and Mike Finch have partnered with brother Ben Finch to present a premier U.S. based block producer Candidate for the highly anticipated EOS blockchain network, Cypherglass.
Rob Finch, Cypherglass CEO.
“EOS is an exciting opportunity for the blockchain and general crypto community,”
“My brother Mike and I founded ICO Alert to fill the vacuum that existed in the ICO space for comprehensive and unbiased information. Cypherglass continues my passion for transparent and dependable blockchain solutions.”
The EOS network is being designed to scale to millions of transactions per second while handling large amounts of data for a rapidly expanding network. Block producers are responsible for maintaining the EOS network, and adhering to the constitution set forth by Block.one and voted in by the EOS community.
Cypherglass has partnered with DataBank to ensure the scalability and reliability of the EOS network. Cypherglass’ primary infrastructure site is hosted in Kansas City, MO. Just as Kansas City played an important role in the 1800s establishing the westward exploration of the United States, Cypherglass strategically picked this location because of its central position when compared to the East and West coasts.
“It’s smack dab in the middle of the country,” said James Sutherland, Cypherglass’ Principal Architect. “This will further strengthen our geographic position to work with other block producers on the East and West coasts. With a secondary hot site in Minneapolis and a Lab in Portland, OR, we have an infrastructure that will truly support the requirements of the EOS network now, and in the future.”
In addition to the server side competencies and the Finch brothers’ success with ICO Alert, Cypherglass has assembled an experienced team for the EOS community that will help drive transparency, education, and real world use. “Blockchain has come a long way in a short amount of time,” said Cypherglass Community Manager and Advisor to San Antonio Crypto Network, Adrianna Mendez. “The EOS network will be a large push towards global adoption of cryptocurrency and decentralized governance and we offer our voters value in extending that message worldwide.”
“All of our audiences–from large EOS contributors, to non-crypto holders who could potentially become critical contributors and electors–deserve a block producer team that is not only experienced in leading and propelling other blockchain and crypto projects, but is actually passionate about the potential of EOS,” said Ben Finch, Cypherglass Head of Strategy & Marketing as well as Founder at The Ledger Agency. “We understand that EOS has the opportunity to be adopted on a mass scale, and the underlying blockchain technology can be and should be reliable to those who use it. Users should forget they are using a blockchain after all, and should simply benefit from the decentralized apps on top of the network. This is when true mass adoption will occur.”
The Cypherglass team also includes Jesse Proudman as a Technical Advisor, With over 20 years of engineering and server side experience, Jesse’s latest company, Strix Leviathan, is a Seattle-based technology company developing software for enterprises wrestling with the challenges of algorithmic trading of cryptocurrencies.
As an Institutional Advisor to Cypherglass, Rick Squitieri brings his knowledge within the institutional financial arena. He is currently a managing director at a premier global financial services firm where he specializes in software and electronic trading.
